Bath screens

Bath screens made to measure in toughened safety glass, fixed or hinged, with easy-clean coatings and fittings in chrome, black or brushed brass.

Made-to-measure bath screens

A glass bath screen turns a bath into a practical shower without the clutter of a curtain. Made-to-measure bath screens fit your bath and wall exactly, so there are no awkward gaps and water stays where it should.

Bath screens are made from 6 or 8 mm toughened safety glass. You can choose a single fixed panel, a hinged screen that swings outward for cleaning, a fixed panel with a small hinged flipper, or a curved-edge design for a softer look.

Glass can be clear, low-iron for a crystal-clear look, frosted or fluted. An easy-clean coating helps water run off and reduces limescale build-up.

How we make bath screens

  1. Measure. Send the bath length, wall height and tile position, or we can survey.
  2. Design. Choose the screen style, glass and fittings.
  3. Manufacture. Glass is cut, shaped, drilled for hinges and toughened.
  4. Fit. The bath screen is fixed to the wall and sealed.

Choosing a bath screen

A fixed bath screen is the simplest and most watertight. A hinged screen can fold back over the bath for easy bathing and cleaning. For a wider splash zone, a fixed panel with a small return flipper works well.

Bath screens are fixed to the wall, so check that the wall is solid or has suitable fixings. A seal along the bath edge and a slight inward lean help keep water in.

Bath screen FAQs

How thick should a bath screen be?

Most bath screens use 6 or 8 mm toughened glass. Larger fixed screens use 8 mm for extra stiffness.

Will a bath screen stop all splashes?

A well-designed screen keeps most water in. A return panel or flipper helps for powerful showers.

Can you make a bath screen for a curved bath?

Yes. We can shape the glass to suit P-shaped and curved baths.

How do I stop limescale on the glass?

Choose an easy-clean coating and squeegee the glass after use.
